[10:23 PM PDT] We are investigating increased API error rates in the us-east-1 Region. [10:49 PM PDT] Starting at 10:15 PM PDT we began experiencing increased error rates in the US-EAST-1 Region. Engineers are actively engaged and are investigating the root cause. We will then apply a mitigation once the cause is found. There is no workaround available for impacted customers. We will provide a further update by 11:30 PM PDT or sooner if more information becomes available. [11:09 PM PDT] Between at 10:15 PM and 10:57 PM PDT we experienced increased error rates in the US-EAST-1 Region. We determined the cause was an unexpected increase in traffic and applied a mitigation to resolve impact. We recommend impacted customers retry any failed requests. The issue has been resolved and the service is operating normally.
