The role.
You'd be our first GTM hire. You'll do both SDR and AE work, with your own budget.
Where this goes.
Expect 12 to 18 months of doing whatever the first deals need. After that, you pick your next role at Doe.
What you'll do.
- 01Find out who buys Doe and which segment to focus on.
- 02Build outbound from scratch, including lists and deliverability.
- 03Test every channel and cut what doesn't work.
- 04Close the first deals, with success criteria agreed before every pilot.
- 05Run your own sales work on Doe's agents.
- 06Bring what buyers say back into the product.
What we look for.
- 01You've beaten quota on enterprise deals you sourced yourself.
- 02When the usual routes don't work, you find another way in.
- 03You run selling as experiments and change course when the numbers say so.
- 04You know which GTM tools and tactics work right now, and you build your own workflows with them.
- 05You learn a customer's business fast enough to talk numbers on the first call.
- 06You write clearly enough that a CFO and an engineer both take you seriously.
- 07You'd rather take on a new problem than manage a team.
- 08You're kind and easy to work with, especially when things get hard.
- 09You think agents will do most of the work inside companies within a few years.
Bonus points.
- 01You've competed as a college or professional athlete.
- 02You've started a company or been early at a startup.
