What you get.
Doe crawls Reddit and X daily for brand mentions, competitor discussions, and industry trends, categorizes each by sentiment and urgency, and delivers a prioritized brief to Slack, with items needing a response highlighted.
The internet is talking about you and you're the last to know
Someone trashed your product on a subreddit with 200K members last Tuesday. A competitor's outage sparked a thread where three people asked for alternatives, and tagged your competitor by name, not you. A journalist asked on X if anyone had opinions about tools in your category. Your team found out about all of it the following week, by accident, when a sales rep forwarded a screenshot.
Dedicated social listening tools exist, but they cost $500+/month and still dump a flood of raw mentions on you. Someone still has to filter the bots, the irrelevant noise, and the sarcasm to find the five mentions that matter. You're paying for a feed when what you need is a brief.

Before you delegate.
- 01Which subreddits does Doe monitor? You configure the subreddits during setup. Most teams start with their industry-specific subreddits, competitor communities, and general business/tech forums. Doe can also suggest relevant subreddits based on your industry and keywords.
- 02Can it track competitor brands too?Yes. You add competitor brand names, product names, and key personnel as tracked keywords. Doe groups competitor mentions separately and highlights patterns, like a spike in complaints or praise for a specific feature.
- 03How does it handle sarcasm and context?Doe reads the full thread context, including surrounding conversation, to determine sentiment. A sarcastic "great product" in a complaint thread is correctly categorized as negative. Edge cases are flagged as "uncertain" rather than misclassified.
- 04Can it alert immediately for urgent mentions instead of waiting for the daily brief?Yes. You can set urgency thresholds that trigger an immediate Slack notification, for example any mention with negative sentiment above a certain confidence score or any thread with more than 50 upvotes mentioning your brand. The daily brief still runs for full coverage.
- 05Does it cover platforms beyond Reddit and X?Hacker News, Product Hunt, and industry forums are fully supported. LinkedIn and Facebook are limited due to platform API restrictions. Doe can monitor public pages but not private groups or feeds. For most B2B companies, Reddit, X, and Hacker News cover the conversations that matter.
